Blown Dry Stylist
This unique position opens the door for employees to be able to enter the beauty industry without the requirement of a hair dressing certificate. Basic knowledge of handling a round brush and blow dryer is required as well as a passion for hair styling and customer service. Upon hiring, our employees will be expected to complete a 4 Day Blown Dry Bar training course. This will qualify them to be a Blown Dry stylist and make sure they are well versed and prepared for their first shift.
At Blown Dry Bar we are offering a range of services accompanied by a luxury experience. Our stylist must be cheerful and polite providing not only a fabulous style, but a memorable encounter. Taking the extra time to snap a photo for client or tweak a style is a must, our clients should leave feeling beautiful inside and out.
As a member of our team stylists will be started at a wage of 16.00 per hour. Gratuities will be paid out at the end of each shift and opportunity for commission and bonuses will be available through sales of product, merchandise, and service add-ons. Opportunity for wage increase will be discussed as individuals move into positions of leadership or management.

Blown Dry Bar Reception
As a blown dry bar receptionist, this employee is the face of our store front. The position will include answering calls and emails for information and bookings, serving refreshments to waiting clients, and creating an ambiance with music and conversation tailored to the guests. Receptionists will also be expected to take payment and ensure that all the clients’ needs have been met during their visit. As the first and last encounter that our customer will have with Blown Dry Bar will be with our receptionist, they are expected to be cheerful and polite with good manners and etiquette, guaranteeing that everyone who comes in feels welcome and leaves excited to return.
Receptionists will start at a wage of $15.65, with opportunity for commission through sales of merchandise and product. There will also be opportunity for wage increase through management roles as well as time spent with the company.
